After graduating from The Univeristy of Texas at Austin with a degree in computer science, Alex Garner went on to work on various popular comic book series (Gen 13, Danger Girl) for Jim Lee’s Wildstorm Productions. In 1999, he left to form IDW Publishing with three other partners and became Creative Director and Lead Artist on a wide range of creative service work for companies such as Upper Deck, Konami, Electronic Arts, Bandai, Marvel Comics, and DC Comics.

Currently Alex is a freelance Illustrator and concept artist whose clientele includes Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Blizzard Entertainment, Hasbro, and various others.
